This Work
My name is Antonia Carey, and I'm known as the "Director of Lasting Impressions," because I create and perform deeply personal celebration-of-life ceremonies that capture the essence, character, and legacy of extraordinary people.
In the past three years, I've had a front-row seat to more than 500 funerals, working with some of the nation's most prestigious funeral homes. Along the way, I discovered that the most powerful funerals aren't really about death -- they're about the stories that live on.
As someone who was too distressed at my parents’ funerals to tell the stories they deserved -- and has carried that regret ever since, I’ve made it my mission to ensure no one’s love goes unspoken and no life story is left untold.
Now, I'm bringing that rare perspective, along with my experience as a professional officiant, storyteller, and non-denominational minister, directly to families throughout the Chicago area. I help families find their voice in dark times, bringing their loved one's stories to life and help them transform a goodbye into a lasting memory.

Over 8 years ago, I became a minister legally authorized to perform marriage ceremonies and was subsequently certified as a Wedding Officiant through the Unboring! Wedding Academy, where I specialized in creating unique, personalized ceremonies.
Active Ministerial Service
For the past 3 years, I have served as a practicing Minister with Unity of Divine Creation Ministry, where I create and deliver sermons and lead candle rituals and ceremonies designed to help parishioners deepen their connection to the Divine through intentional prayer and reflection.
Funeral Expertise
Since the pandemic, I have served as a remote video producer and livestream director for over 500 funeral services at cemeteries, synagogues, and chapels, supporting families across diverse faiths, languages, and cultural traditions.
